Up, up and away. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s the Milwaukee Air and Water Show.

P class="MsoNormal">There are many reasons why you might want to visit downtown Milwaukee this summer, but none is greater than the annual Milwaukee Air Show that is hosted every year in the great state of Wisconsin. The Milwaukee Air Show is rapidly becoming one of the area's biggest festivals, allowing people to gain a rewarding experience in the Milwaukee area. Thanks to this ever so popular event, the community and economy of Milwaukee are greatly stimulated during this grand occasion.
Of course, the shows and family entertainment provide a wonderful atmosphere to expand the efforts of tourism in the surrounding areas. The Milwaukee Air & Water Show is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States during the month of July. Don’t miss the daily water show that begins at 10am, and the daily air show that begins at 11am.

The Milwaukee Air Show in 2009 is hosted at the Milwaukee Lakefront near the McKinley and Bradford beaches. If you are looking for the best place to find a good parking place in the area, be sure to check out the Veteran’s Park. In fact, you will get the best view of The Milwaukee Air Show if you head directly north from the Veteran’s Park.
Amazingly, the cost for this highly acclaimed festivity is Free. However, you might want to bring some spending cash for the food provided by a variety of vendors. In addition, there will be a wide gamut of souvenirs available for purchase. The Milwaukee Air Show allows you to bring your pets just as long as they are restrained on a leash. There is a children’s area on the beach that includes: lively games, bouncing toys, and rides. The event will take place rain or shine, so come prepared.
Due to the heat and sunny weather, you might want to bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat or visor. Small chairs and beach towels are also advised, so you won’t have to sit on the steamy sand. Of course, cameras are allowed, but no alcoholic drinks or flame-fired grills are permitted on the premises. For your safety, your bags and backpacks will be searched to make sure everyone stays safe and sound during the Milwaukee Air and Water Show.
