The Greatest Ever!
posted October 27, 2009 - 8:36pmMy Biography
Johnny Yuma here, I am a happily married Husband, Dad of three two boys, and one girl, and Grandpa to seven wonderful Grandkids. I am a writer of short poems, essays, and a few short stories. I also try to be a Christian. I have a few poems published in paperbacks such as Poesia. Poesia is a paperback book that is published by Indian Bay Press in Fayetteville, Arkansas. With that many Grandkids I stay fairly busy which is fine by me. I mostly write at night.
I also have published one book called, "My Life The Way I Remember It".
The poem now...
Hank, you know I've always loved your songs.
I loved the ones you wrote.
I loved the ones you sang.
I loved all the sad notes.
You've been gone for years.
Still, I listen on in tears.
Hank, can I borrow just a bit of your writing spirit?
It would be an honor to carry on your writing tradition.
I write a lot of poems--some about being done wrong.
Some about being kicked out of my home.
I try to write them sad,
And how I feel so low down blue and bad.
Mr. Williams, Sir I surely would appreciate it if you would loan me just a little of your writing spirit.
From one country music lover to another I think you were the greatest that ever lived.

Thank you!
Thanks Nancy,
I remember when Hank died except for a long time I thought he was killed in that blue cadillac rather than just died in it. I wasn't very old but would have been seven in April after he died that January 1, 1953. Some people think he may have died before midnight which would have made it 1952, but most agree that it was New Years Day 1953. I loved his singing when he was living and still do today.
Thanks again my friend.
Johnny
The country in you really
