Greek Style Burritos

Greek Style Burritos

This is what I know...when you take plain, non-fat yogurt and add a bit of salt and minced garlic to it, it tastes just like sour cream but without all of the fat and with the probiotics.

So add the yogurt instead of sour cream and know that the addition of mint is essential to this recipe in order to be a bit different than traditional burritos.

Greek Taco: Tastes Like Eyeball

Maybe the mexy, minty goodness tastes like something else, but--as I hope never to have to *taste* 'eyeball'--the Greek Taco shall ever evoke a memory of your avatar! ... signed, Uncle MythMan---Big Fan of the 2008 Olympics, Megan Fox, Laur. Franco, Fussin`, Vanessa Montagne & Lena Li--Xombie Plan

Never had greek food...

The rural area I live in does not offer much of anything other than truck stop food........or taco bell... Would love to try others. Am going to have to learn to make it myself...

I love a good burrito

What I had at Taco Bell last night was anything but a good burrito. I'm not sure what lured me into the drive up window. I ought to know better than that. :( Thanks for the recipe, Mia. :) ↑ Grab this Headline Animator

Greek burritos

Putting dill in the yogurt will help give it that sour-cream sauce taste.

Sorry. I blame it on my computer. It's got a mind of its own. As you know I am a non-Nerd.

Mmm...baklava

Where I live in California, there is a dearth of good Greek food. There is a small Mediterranean deli that has decent food and the locally famous Rock & Roll diner, which was built inside of an old passenger railroad car and which has gyros, moussaka, and even baklava in addition to the other staples you'd expect to find in a diner. I suspect that one of the owners is Greek. DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?

Gyros is my middle name jdubhub!

Ha ha, but it is so delicious. You definitely know your Greek food, but where's the baklava?? :) Peace, Mia NW Please visit my recent posts here Get paid to be a xombie! Join us here

Sounds Delish...

I am a big fan of Greek food, especially gyros, moussaka, and chicken souvlaki. That tzatziki sauce is one of my favorite condiments. Now to find a little roast lamb... Great article! DO YOU HAVE THE WRITE STUFF?
