Greenhouse Gas Trading to Reach $116 Billion
The global greenhouse-gas trading market will expand to $116 billion by year's end, an 80 percent gain on 2007, according to New Carbon Finance, the London-based research company.
The size of the market will jump to $550 billion in 2012 and $3 trillion in 2020, New Carbon Finance said today in an e-mailed statement.

This is obviously an advert by New Carbon Finance, but did make me think that in the very near future we will be governed by imaginary legislation. We have imaginary terrorists, imaginary carbon credits, imaginary schools that teach make believe subjects and issue worthless diplomas. All of which will cost real money from taxes.
