GREENPEACE Alert - Congress Wants To Hear Your Story

Congress is preparing to open discussion on the strongest piece of legislation about dramatically reducing global warming emissions.

As Greenpeace states on their site:
"We're at a historic moment for the climate. Congress is considering landmark legislation to dramatically reduce global warming emissions. But the coal, oil, and nuclear industries are demanding (and getting) the right to pollute for free, to offset their pollution instead of reducing it, and to receive billions of taxpayer dollars for unproven carbon capture and storage. I hope instead of industry handouts and loopholes, you'll stand up for future generations, and only support solutions that will really count."
