Paper Whites are dainty white flowers with an absolutely heavenly scent.  They grow from bulbs and are almost always grown just in water, especially for Christmas.  They take about six weeks to grow from the time of planting.  The bulbs are inexpensive and you can grow them in any type of container you wish.  They make a nice gift for teachers or relatives.  It is lovely to have a few containers of Paper Whites around to perfume the house for the holiday season.
