Grow Vitamin C on Trees
posted October 29, 2009 - 8:13amIf you're living in an area that supports acerola growth, like South Florida, grow some plants in your yard. Look for types called "Florida Sweet" and "B-17," recommends the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences in Gainesville. The plants should start producing fruit in the second year after planting, and really produce an abundance of the vitamin C-laden fruit in the following years.
