Hair dyes causing severe allergic reactions...
Ok, so the last time I dyed my hair I decided to go jet black. Unfortunately that will be the last time I dye my hair permanently dark ever again because, I ended up with chemical burns on my scalp, neck, and ears, several of my glands in my neck swelled up to the size or marbles, my sinus's in my forehead swelled up and if that wasn't enough i had a rash all over my body. Apparently at least two thirds of hair dyes use a chemical called Para-phenylenediamine(ppd)which is used the most because its permanent and gives you a natural look but, let me tell you there was nothing natural about the way I looked! According to recent studies the allergy to PPD is becoming more and more common in young people who dye there hair often, and the scary part is that you can use the same brand and color for years and just suddenly develop an allergy to PPD.
