Half Life 2: Orange Box review
posted October 28, 2007 - 3:06amHalf life 2 Orange box is a compilation of five games that will bring new life to your gaming system. This amazing offer of five games on one disc for the price of one game is amazing. Regularly, one would think "Oh, they must be cheap games with little to no
entertainment value." Well, if that's what you were thinking then, YOU WERE WRONG. First of all the half life series is a groundbreaking FPS bringing in newer more in depth gamplay by adding puzzle solving, amazing physics, and a story line that sucks you in, to your regular shoot 'em up game. Orange box features half life 2, half life 2: episode one, and half life 2: episode 2. As if that wasn't enough reason to go out and buy the game immediately, there are two more games. Portal brings new life to puzzle genre. You are in control of a portal gun that shoots two types of interconnecting portals. The physics of this game are the best in the industry, and the innovation along with the hilarious comical side of this game allows for near unlimited hours of gameplay. Finally, the last game on the disc is the multiplayer only game "Team Fortress 2". This game is a hoot from the cell shaded aspect to the comical character production, it adds hours more of nonsensical multiplayer squad combat to this compilation of games.
Overall, the main reason to buy this game is that it is cheap for what you get, and you get a lot.
