The Hangover is Hilarious

The Hangover is summers funniest film. This movie as crude as it was touched men and women young and old with humor. The entire theater was roaring in laughter all through the entire movie. Watching these four men, with seemingly normal average lives before they left for this trip to Las Vegas drift into every situation imaginable struck a cord with anyone that has gone wild for a weekend with friends.
The comic genius of Jon Lucas and Scott Moore is brilliant, it was written as if they themselves have had this adventure. Perhaps they did but bringing in director Todd Phillips to initiate the right stuff in this film was magnificent. The writers have co written before and you can tell they are in sync with each other’s wit and humor. The director has brought us other funny tales such as Old School and Road Trip, which even as a family film was hilarious. This trio brought this movie alive before the actors stepped into the frame.
This movie starred Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Zach Galifianakis, as the four men that really brought “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas” to life. They were all funny and brilliant, and without giving away anything about the film, this movie brought tears to my eyes over and over again with their misadventures of a bachelor party gone road trip.
If you haven’t seen The Hangover in theaters yet you must go see this film. I am an avid I’ll wait until it’s on DVD person, but the ticket price on this movie is worth every penny. I haven’t laughed so hard in a very long time and even though the film ran about an hour and a half you didn’t have a moment to stop and wonder if it was almost over.
This is not a family film and should be viewed by adults with the adult themed movie and humor. It would be a great date film for anyone that wants a lighthearted night out full of laughter and fun.
