Wednesday, June 24th 2009 will mark the 345th birthday of New Jersey, The Garden State.

New Jersey celebrated with special events in Trenton and had on display the original document establishing New Jersey as an English colony by the Duke of York, dated 24 June 1664 (which is considered New Jersey's 'birth certificate') as well as an original copy of the Declaration of Independence.
