Harry Potter and the Masters of Sinanju Chapter 1-3
posted September 1, 2009 - 11:05am
This is a re imagining of the fifth Book of Harry Potter and takes place after the 101st Destroyer Novel. I don't have any affiliation with any of the characters or authors. To keep with the
entertainment value I have asked Master Chiun of the Glorious House of Sinanju to write a Foreword.
Who thinks of the Children of Sinanju,
That is the questions that drunkard Murphy and that wine soaked Rowlng woman should be asking themselves. The War ended in this fine tome where you will see the real hero is not Harry Potter or that less then adequate Remo. But do I see any gold from the work I have done. No those spirit soaked authors continued to drag the story out at least the woman had enough sense to end after 7 books Murphy's insane grain drinking has created 150 of his books and the only thing that stopped him was the good sense of the publishers who no longer publish this drivel. What follows is dictated to a rather less then adequate storyteller who wanted the one thing most storytellers don't the truth. Sinanju is the truth. Sinanju is the light. But still not one mention from that Rowling woman about our contribution which means no residuals and again the babies of Sinanju go to bed hungry because of a ungrateful white. I urge you all to boycott the books and movies for they are false and not at all entertaining instead you may purchase my ung poetry only 600 pieces of gold for the first 27,000 stanzas'
With Moderate tolerance for you I Chiun .
Chapter 1
Godric Gryfendor looked out over the field. There were Bodies everywhere. Salazar Slytherin had found a great power. He had for years wanted to only allow those of pure blood into Hogwarts. He had defeated a great many wizards and witches. Godric looked at the small oriental next to him. “Master Ko, are you sure you wish to do this.” The little Korean smiled and began walking towards Slytherin. Slytherin cast a killing spell that appeared to miss the little Korean. Godric shook his head no one had ever dodged a killing curse cast by Salazar. He flicked his wand again and again he missed.
Master Ko seemed to float on air right up next to Slytherin. Godric barely registered the fingernail going in and exploding Slytherins heart. As he fell he cast one more curse this one hitting the little oriental in the chest. Master Ko staggered and began walking back towards Gryfendor. He fell at the great wizards feet. No one had ever survived a killing curse even a weakened one. Yet this oriental had. Within 2 days he was eating plain rice. On the 4th day Master Ko walked into his office. “Master Godric I must take my leave of you.” Godric pulled out a teak box and pushed it to the Korean. “One hundred pieces of gold as agreed.” The Korean nodded, opened the box and took out 3 pieces. “For expenses, Master Godric know this my house has been facing evil for 2000 yrs and we have never encountered a power such as this. If your house is ever faced with this type of evil again know that you have an ally in Sinanju. This is my seal and my houses promise to stand next to you.” Master Ko Bowed and walked out.
Chapter 2.
His name was Remo and he was confused. It wasn't the first time the apprentice Master of Sinanju had been confused merely the latest. He was in Harold W. Smiths office. Smith a lemony gray man wasn't at all confused. He didn't have the imagination for it. Although he was questioning his sanity seeing the large Barn Owl with a letter in its beak sitting on his filing cabinet. The envelope was addressed to Chiun Master of Sinanju Both Remo and Smith had tried to get the letter but neither seemed able. “Remo, I don't suppose you know what this is about?” Remo shook his head. He knew Chiun would arrive soon now that the Terry Ringer Show was over. The Master of Sinanju came walking in. “You summoned me most glorious emperor.” Smith had long ago stopped trying to explain to Chiun he wasn't a emperor since Sinanju had only worked for kings and emperors since before Jesus. “Um yes Master Chiun”He pointed to the owl. Chiun raised a eyebrow and walked over. He knew what the owl was. Sinanju had been working with the Wizards for many hundreds of years. The owl flew down and landed on Chiuns outstretched arm. Chiun patted the owl and took the letter. He knew what it contained and was weary. Remo had achieved full master hood and had become the avatar of Shiva the Hindu God of Destruction it was time he learned a new lesson from the histories of Sinanju. Chiun opened the letter and read it to himself.
Dear Master of Sinanju.
You are cordially requested to attend a meeting at the Leaky Cauldron in London on August 30th. Lord Voldemort has returned and I feel that the wizarding community will need our strongest ally to help defeat him.
Albus Dumbledore
Headmaster of Hogwarts.
Chiun sighed he had fought with the wizards as required by his house the last time Voldemort was active. He was reportedly killed before Chiun had a chance to kill him. He looked at Smith. “Emperor Smith I beg a boon.” Smith nodded. “A house matter has come up in London minor compared to service to you but necessary nonetheless.” Smith didn't ask. House business was none of his. He had learned many years ago of the power of Sinanju and it's secret place in history. “Of course will Remo be accompany you?” Chiun nodded. “As future Master of the House it would be most instructive as trivial as it is.” Smith also knew better then to argue. “Of course I see no need of you in the coming weeks.” Chiun bowed. “Thank you most gracious emperor Harold the Wise will always be favored in the histories of Sinanju.” Remo rolled his eyes most of the time Chiun called him Harold the Mad.
As they walked to they're quarters Chiun asked Remo. “ Do you remember the history of Master Ko?” Remo tried to remember he had read the histories of Sinanju but there was so much flowery self indulgence he didn't remember half of them. “Did he whack Kublai Khan?” Chiun shook his head. “No Ko worked for the wizards.” Then Remo Remembered. “Right Ko the Idiot he did a job for expenses only.” Chiun nodded at least he got the important part right. “Yes we are still owed 97 pieces of gold.”
Remo smiled and shook his head always about gold. He understood the need to support the village of Sinanju. Thousands of years ago the females were thrown into the West Korean Bay during times of famine. Today the treasure house of Sinanju which was build by architects of Tutankhamen held more riches then the GNP of most countries put together.
Chapter 3.
Albus Dumbledore and Servious Snape sat sipping Butterbeer at the Leaky Cauldron. “Headmaster are you sure it is a good idea to bring Sinanju in at this time.” Dumbledore looked at Snape. “Yes Servius when the war comes the children will be forced to fight the best we can do is hold them off till they are ready.” Snapes eyes narrowed. “I am still unsure. They are after all assassins. They are not Magic.” “Quite the contrary Sinanju is magic very powerful magic. I recommend you keep that in mind. You saw Master Chiun fight the deatheaters. You know the legend of Master Ko and Salazar Slytherin.” Snape smiled. “Yes Master Chiun was very useful but the Dark Lord grows stronger. Perhaps even stronger then you.” Dumbledore didn't take offense none was intended Snape was very cautious. “Perhaps Professor you would care to challenge the Master of Sinanju just for fun?” Snape smiled. “No headmaster I wouldn't want to hurt a ally.” “Perhaps school teacher you do not want to be embarrassed” Snape spun around and saw the Master of Sinanju. He looked like a muggle figurine of a old Asian fisherman. Next to him was a ordinary looking Caucasian with very thick wrists and dead eyes. Snape stood up and bowed to Chiun. “Forgive me Master Chiun sometimes my mouth runs away from my mind.” Chiun nodded. “Headmaster a pleasure to see you despite the circumstances. May I present my son Remo.” Dumbledore stood and bowed to Chuinand Remo. “Please sit. Master Chuin you are familiar with Lord Voldemort and the young Harry Potter.” Chiun nodded. “Young Harry has faced Voldemort on 3 occasions each time barely surviving. At this years Quidditch Cup the Death Eaters returned. “ Remo sat quietly staring at Snape. He didn't like him for some reason. There was something strange about Snape that Remo could feel in his bones. “Very well Headmaster we shall endeavor to find Voldemort and end his life permanently.” Dumbledore shook his head. “No Master Chiun I fear it is a great deal more complicated then that. Destiny must be fulfilled and there is a prophecy that involves Harry Potter and Voldemort that cannot be ignored.” Chiun understood. “Then of what help may my house give you?” This was the tricky part/ “I wish you to train my older students in Sinanju. Just basics so that they will have a edge. I have hired Alistair Moody as Defense against the Dark Arts and wish to hire you as Professor of Physical Talents.” Chiun remembered Moody a very dangerous wizard. “As you wish Headmaster. I will train your students in basic skills but understand even a rudimentary knowledge would take much longer then any of us have. I have been training Remo for 20 yrs and he is barely adequate. Whites are so much harder to train then Koreans it has been a challenge every day.” Remo smiled he had been inadequate since he was first introduced to the Old Man. “I understand. The train for Hogwarts leaves in the morning here are your tickets and a check for the 97 gold pieces he have owed you plus interest of course.” Remo thought he would impress Chiun. “Sorry no checks.” Chiun touched his elbow and Remo couldn't speak. “Hush Remo you have much to learn. Come we begin your training now. Until tomorrow Headmaster. Schoolteacher.” Chiun stood and led Remo to the back room. He touched his ear. “What the hell Little Father.” Chin touched 5 bricks and the wall fell away. Inside was another world Remo's eyes went wide. “Come Remo I shall introduce you to the wizards world welcome to Diagon Ally.”
As they walked through Diagon Ally Remo felt Deja Vu. “Little Father this place feels familiar.” Chiun raised his eyebrows. It had happened before in India. As Remo was the Avatar of Shiva he felt at home there. Was it possible Remo had magic in his blood. They walked down the busy road full of parents and they're children getting they're school supplies. At Gringots Remo's eyes went wide. “What the hell is this Little Father?” Chiun smiled. “The wizards bank. It is run by Goblins ugly creatures but better then the Swiss when it comes to banking.” Remo shook his head it was full of questions. “Little Father I thought we didn't deal with banks or checks.” “Of course you have not read the histories. Here at Gringots is a supply of wealth more then anyone could imagine. It houses a vault that we have used for minor payments for hundreds of years.” At the desk Remo was surprised by the ugliness of the Goblin. He looked over his glasses and spoke to Chiun. “Master of Sinanju are you here for a deposit or withdrawal” Chiun pulled out a ornate key and the paper Dumbledore had given him.
“Very well follow me.” They walked down to a great set of moving stairs. At the bottom they moved into a rolling car that whisked them to vault 901. Remo watched as the Goblin used the key to open the vault then stood aside. It was well lit and very large full of gems and gold as well as Jade Busts of the former Masters. Chiun walked inside and put the check in a strongbox. “In here you will find our emergency funds. He walked to a case where rolled parchment was stacked high. One of your ancestors procured these from the great library at Alexandria. He shook his head as he walked out, “Come Remo we must visit a dear old friend of the House. As they made they're way down Diagon Ally Chiun continued talking. “During the time of the Great Wang we first encountered the Wizards. It was a minor job for a Saxon prince where Wang met a man named Merlin. He saw the power of magic could rival that of Sinanju so a accord was made between the two most powerful men on earth. Since that time we have always fought beside the wizards anytime a great threat occurred.” Remo stopped. “We worked for King Further?” Chiun shook his head. “Yes but the Arthur you know was nothing more then the drunken musings of a bored Frenchman. Arthur himself was a immature drunken despot.” Remo understood the histories of Sinanju held the truth since Sinanju had no stake in the affairs of man they could be objective. They walked into Oleanders wands. The old wand maker looked up and saw the ancient Korean his lips turned into a smile then a frown. For if the Master of Sinanju was here then the great evil was about to envelope the world. “Master Chiun I am happy and distressed to see you.” Chiun nodded. “Yes he has returned. But we come on a different errand. This is my son Remo he is heir to my house and a orphan. He feels a sense of belonging to your world is it possible his mother was a witch?” Olivander shrugged. “All things are possible. A Master of Sinanju who is a wizard would be a very powerful ally.” He walked around and picked out a box. “Come try this.” He handed Remo a wand. “It is a stick.” He shook his head. “No it is a wand give it a flick” Remo flicked the wand and it emitted a spark. “You have your answer Master Chiun. I assume you will be at Hogwarts you will perhaps have Dumbledore arrange for private lessons.” Chuin nodded. The history of Sinanju wrote of a prophecy. A dead white night tiger who becomes the Avatar of Shiva the destroyer to fight the greatest battle of all time. Chiun had his answer the battle would not be where he expected but at Hogwarts. “Come Remo we have a lot to do.”
In they're room above the Leaky Cauldron Chiun sat watching his pupil. Remo was flicking the wand like a child with a new toy. “Little Father why are you so down I thought you would be happy to have a wizard in the family.” Chiun smiled. “Get your rest my son for tomorrow we journey. I have one more errand to run I shall return as quickly as I can.” Chiun raised up and walked to the taproom of the Leaky Cauldron. At the fireplace he reached into his kimono and pulled out some powder. He stepped in and came out in Dumbledores office. “Ah Master Chiun I have been expecting you. I hear from Olivander that perhaps your son has Magic.” The Master of Sinanju nodded and sat down. “You spoke of a prophecy headmaster. I have one also and believe they may be intertwined. Remo is the Avatar of Shiva the Destroyer he is according to prophecy the dead night tiger made whole by the Master of Sinanju to fight a great battle that will destroy the world if it is lost. Does this sound familiar to you headmaster?” Dumbledore sat there thinking. “Yes Harry Potter and Voldemort are intertwined and perhaps your son is also. It is a dangerous time for us all. With your permission I shall have Professor Snape help train Remo in our ways.” Chiun stroked his papery face. “Why Professor Snape and not Professor Moody?” Dumbledore thought for a moment. “Moody is a auror trained to kill dark witches and wizards his skills lie in the force where as Professor Snapes lies in his ability to train in finesse. Masters of Sinanju do not have to learn to kill but for Magic purposes finesse is the best option to make Remo whole.” Chiun nodded. “Our prophecies appear to have come much faster then either of us had anticipated.” He stood up and walked to the fireplace. “One thing to remember Albus neither of us is likely to survive this.” Dumbledore stood up and petted his phoenix. “I am aware of that Chiun until tomorrow.”
Hermoine Granger, Ronald Weasly and Harry Potter shared a car on the Hogwarts express each of them lost in they're own thoughts. Hermoine was reading a book, Hogwarts a Secret History, Ron was thinking about winning the Quidditch world Championship and Harry was thinking of his godfather Sirius Black. Hermoine looked up and saw Cho Chang a 4 Th yr Ravewnclaw. “Excuse me but I don't know who else to talk to about this.” They invited her in. “Harry you have fought he who must not be named and defeated him but is he still around? I am asking because I just saw something that doesn't make sense.” Harry looked at her. “Well since the deatheaters showed up at the Quidditch cup I would say yes why what have you seen?” She took a deep breath. “I am from Korea. In the north is a fishing village that for thousands of yrs has produced assassins. I believe they are on the train. I think the old man with the American is the Master of Sinanju.” Hermoine looked up “That sounds familiar wait a second.” She flipped through the pages of her book. “Here the Masters of Sinanju have been favored Allies since the time of Merlin. They are perhaps the most perfect humans ever using upwards of 95% of they're brains. They stood with Godric Gryffendor at the first battle of Hogwarts as well as standing by the order of the Phoenix against Lord Voldemort. They are the only muggles who have access to Diagon Ally and Gringots Bank.” She looked at the rest of them. “If the Master of Sinanju is here then they aren't telling us everything.” They all looked at her quizzically. “What are you saying Heromione?” Ron asked. “Simple if the Master of Sinanju have been called in then the war is coming faster then we expected.” Harry Potter sighed he was tired of his status of the boy who lived. He didn't want to fight he just wanted to be Harry. But the fates had decided against him. He was who he was.”Cho who are these people?” Harry asked. Cho looked at him.” According to legend they come from a fishing village in the west Korean bay. The story goes at one time they were forced to throw there children into the bay rather then force them to starve. They began to hire themselves out as assassins. There was a Master and several students known as night tigers. About the time of Merlin the Great Wang is said to have found the sun source. The keys to the human body. Since then there is always a Master and Apprentice. Know it is funny even coming from a wizarding family I always thought Sinanju a fairy tale.” Ron took a bite of a chocolate frog. “Some fairy tale. Why are they here?” “Ron we will know that when and only when they tell us no use thinking about it now.” Harry said as he rolled over and closed his eyes.
