Given your disclosure, it may appear that you have some issue with your sister and/or her political views that you are projecting onto everybody else that has issue with the Bush Administration. You claim to know what is in the liberal heart. You even named this Xombyte as such. But, what first-hand information do you have about how a liberal feels? thinks? The sad truth is, you are projecting your hatred into what you perceive to be the cause of all that's gone wrong in this country. Bush took office in 2001. The Republicans had a majority in Congress from 1995 to 2007. That leaves the Republican Party with 6 years with control of both the Executive and Legislative Branches of our federal government. What has the Republican Party done in that time to provide a future for our children? Yes, the Democrats had control over Congress for about the past 18 months and there has been a lot of partisanship going back and forth. But, considering Bush consolidated a lot of power under a unitary Executive and unconstitutionally decided what he was going to let apply to him out of an entire legislative bill, you can hardly fault the Democrats for everything that Bush has done since 1/07. You claim that hatred by "liberals" is what is wrecking our country. What was the price for a gallon of regular unleaded when Bush took office? How about a gallon of diesel? What was the United States' standing and reputation in the world in 2001? What percentage of the Muslim world was turned against the U.S. in 2001 compared to now? Are we safer now as a country compared to 2001? Do we have more rights and liberties or less now compared to 2001? See, projection. The Republicans had control over TWO branches of our government from January 2001 to January 2007. What majority did the so-called liberals have that caused the problems that our country is now facing?
