I Have a Magical Cat Litter Box

I Have a Magical Cat Litter Box

When my wife and I bought our cat litter box a few weeks ago, we couldn't imagine it would have magical properties. To look at it you wouldn't know--it looks just like any other PetSmart covered cat box. We use the store brand bulk clumping cat litter with the pleasant-smelling deodorant powder that we mix with the cat litter.

Our kitten makes it smell purely evil at certain times of the day, usually while we are eating dinner for some strange reason, but the deodorant leaves the long-haired kitten smelling clean. That's not what makes the cat litter box magical, but it is a miracle.

So, what does make the cat litter box magical then? It pretty much cleans itself. As part of keeping our house clean during the day, I grab the scoop to take out what our kitten has left behind. What I've noticed, however, is that there are pee clumps that take the shape of a ball of cat litter, but there is nothing else. Read: no evidence of twosies. The whole house knows when he does them because it's hard not to notice unless you are standing next to an open window.

What gives? I would like to believe that we got one of those self-cleaning models, but I was there at the store when we bought it. I know what we purchased. It wasn't self-cleaning.

Well, I'm going to sit down and think about it. Oh, look. Here comes Bob, our three-year-old border collie. Wait. Why is there cat litter on his nose?

Ewwwwwwww...

If only all negatives in our lives could clump out

I wouldn't mind having a way to clump out all of the negatives in our lives and clean ourselves out with a ethereal poop scoop. JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!

Magic is not evil

Your titles are truly for the curious! Eager to discover this magical secret, I read with great anticipation... and laughed! Just goes to show, all magic is not evil, but can be cleansing as well!! I am a controversy. MJ

Funny, kjhack!

This could probably qualify him for a show about dog jobs on Animal Planet: pooper scooper and he could be trained to walk city streets cleaning the sidewalk. Or we could have the next viral sensation on the Internet: Two Border Collies, One Cat Box JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!

Thanks Sharon H!

We have the cat litter box in our spare bathroom so we technically could close the door while the dog is inside the house, since he stays outside during the day. Unfortunately, our kitten may decide that the time the door is closed is the time he reminds us why we bought a Bissel steam cleaner. Anyway, thanks for your comment! If I had written this, it would probably be entitled I Lost a Border Collie Last Night. :) ↑ Grab this Headline Animator

And here I am...

...sitting here wondering how in the world you got the kitty box to stop stinking!! And this is really an issue right now cause chemo is making everything really smell awful. But I don't have a border collie cleaning the box for me ;) Better you than me, big guy!! Yuck!!! http://www.bigblueheron.blogspot.com/

Some mysteries are better left unsolved

This is all based on a true story of what my cat and dog do right now, so there are times when I really don't want to know. Although, I must admit, I would want to know what my dog was eating before he licks my hand or face! LOL JOIN XOMBA IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO ADD!

Here I was trying to think

Here I was trying to think of a reason for this phenomenon......then I laughed :) Nice byte
