posted May 27, 2009 - 4:49pmUnderstanding how fat is formed will help us reduce the fat content in our body. We have to understand how weight is accumulated. A body is like a bank. What you put in is how much you have in your account. This means if we put in less food then
we will have less to get rid of. If we put in a lot then we have a lot to get rid of. This is why controlling calories can help us lose weight. The less calories we take in, the less we have to burn off. It's like an equal equation. Our weight is equal to the amount of food we eat and how much we burn off afterward. If we don't burn off the excess food then it stays inside of our body, making us gain.
Excess Blood Sugar Becomes Fat
When you take in food, it's converted to blood sugar. Your body need sugar in order for you to feel energized. If you have a low blood sugar, you will feel tired. If you have too much blood sugar, you can also feel very tired. The body needs the right level of sugar in order to feel good. If you have a high blood sugar level, you can become a diabetic someday. A high blood sugar can oxidize your nerves and cause many health problems. This is why sugary foods is not good for you. You should avoid soft drinks and cakes in general. They taste good but they're harmful to your health. When you eat, your blood sugar level will rise. Insulin will lower your blood sugar and brings it into cells. If you don't have any empty space that can use more sugar, then insulin will convert the excess blood sugar into fat. This is how fat is formed. If you don't want excess fat, you can reduce your food intake and sugar intake. You can eat when you're hungry and eat only small meals. You should never skip meals because you will eat a large meal later on and you will gain weight.
Excess Food Becomes Fat
When you eat, your body will try to uptake the process food and stores it in areas that need its. This means if you were exercising before you eat, the blood sugar would go directly to all of the muscles that needs it. You muscles have been depleted when you work out and it can use some more sugar. If you didn't exercise before you eat or if you were full, you don't have empty space to store your new blood sugar or calories. You can think of your body as a blender. If the blender is full, anything that is added to it will be staying on top without getting process. It'll also slows down the processing part of the material underneath it. The whole process is now slower. You'll need to think of your body like a food blender. It works best when there's little material in it. It blends faster and will have room for some more after you empty it out. When you're not hungry, all the calories that you eat will be stored for later and it can become fats. This is how fats is created. If you don't want to have fats, you'll need to exercise before you eat and eat when there's room for new food. You can gain weight quickly if you eat when you're full or you eat large meals. When you eat large meals, your body can't process it in time and it'll be store as fat. This is why breaking up three large meals into seven small meals will help you lose weight faster. You'll not create fat this way either.
Ways to Reduce Fat Storage
Fat is the product of excess blood sugar. If you don't have an excess of blood sugar then you don't have fat. This is like an equal equation. One side will always be equal to another side. This means if you take in a large amount of food, you'll also have that large amount inside of your body and it can turn into fat if you don't need that excess calories. If you eat light, small meals throughout the day, you won't be giving your body excess blood sugar. You'll be giving it just enough to use. This way, you will not have any fat conversion going on. You'll not have fat storage. If you don't eat sugar, you'll also not have as much fat conversion. Sugar does a lot of harm your health. You should eat other type of food but not sugar. If you want to get rid of the fat that you already have, you can burn it. How do you burn fat? You burn it by converting it back to sugar for energy.
