If you thought that the UFC was just a bunch of guys who want nothing better to beat each other half to death, you might be right.  But there are some things about the UFC that seperate it from other sports.  Really it is an everyman sport.  Some people are faced with tougher circumstances than others and in this case, the UFC helped someone in their time of need.
