A Vacation in Florida is the perfect get away if you're looking for a slow paced, relaxing experience. Northeastern Florida (Jacksonville) has our beloved Jacksonville Jaguars and beautiful beach scenery. There are plenty of cultural eateries, pubs, and many shopping areas. By driving 2 hours south can bring you to the well known city of Orlando! Disneyworld, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Epcot, Wet N Wild, and Pleasure Island are just a couple of the local hot spots. You really need at least a week to check everything out. The prices are reasonable and the people are friendly. During the daytime hours, there are many eateries (Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, The House of Blues) and many shops.
