Hillary Clinton Will Not Take A Stand Say Democrats

Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois and former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina pounced on Sen. Hillary Clinton's lack of a stand on key issues. Hillary has long been adept at avoiding answers which might antagonize voters. By doing so, she also has avoided a stand on the issues.

Now it's not Republicans who are assailing her sidestepping ways. It's her Democratic opponents. On the campaign trail both Obama and Edwards lashed out at Clinton for refusing to take a stand. Clinton's refusal to directly answer questions in the last Democratic candidate debate made it clear that she has no intentions of tackling the issues head on.

The one matter which is most irritating is that Hillary Clinton gives different answers on the same topic to different audiences. All politicians do so to some degree but Hillary takes avoidance to a whole new level. She even out did herself last Tuesday when she supplied different answers on the same topic to the same audience. Even some of Hillary's most avid supporters seemed surprised at her poor performance in the debate last Tuesday.
