Holiday Tips for Incest Survivors

 Survivors of childhood sexual abuse and incest often have difficulties when it comes to family gatherings and nothing can be more difficult than holiday family get-togethers.  We are often faced with "do I go or should I pass on the holiday gathering?".  It is not an easy question to answer and mostly will depend upon where you are in your healing process and the toxicity of your family.  Only you can make the decision, but I would like to offer some tips especially for survivors who need to survive the holidays.  Blessings to you in your own journey and be kind to yourself as the holidays approach.
