Holy Crap! Carrie Underwood's guitarist kicks butt!

I just finished watching Carrie Underwood perform "Last Name" at the Grammys and all I can say is - Holy Crap!

Carrie was ok - I would say a very so-so performance - her band defintely over powered her but that might have mix problem. But whoever that woman was playing guitar for her is effing awesome.

There is only one other female that I have even heard come close to that performance and that was Allison Robertson from The Donnas. I mean that woman tore it up the entire song, doing runs perfectly, perfectly timed bends and holds. And her guitar set-up was awesome! My hat is off to her - she kicks some ass! Too bad she has to be stuck with Carrie. Not that Carrie would suck to play for but she seems to have more talent than what Carrie's music is going to let her show.

Anyone know her name? I think I am in love!

I've seen them many times and am always struck by how good they sound with just one guitar player doing rhythm and leads. I wish they'd play out East more often.
