Hot Buttered Rum Batter

1 pound light brown sugar
1/2 pound unsalted butter (softened)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

In a mixing bowl beat together all ingredients until well combined. Refrigerate in an airtight reusable container for up to a month or place in your freezer until ready to use. Remove batter from refrigerator or freezer for at least six hours prior to serving to allow for softening.

Hot Buttered Rum

2 tablespoons Hot Buttered Rum Batter (above)
1 1/2 ounces Mount Gay Extra Old Rum
In a pre-heated coffee mug combine batter and rum, and then top with boiling water and stir well.

Bourbon adds instant warmth to a winter drink. Pairing well with turkey dinners and cranberries, this Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey helps ward off the chill when the snowflakes fly.

Hot Butterscotch Cocoa

1/4 cup butterscotch schnapps
1/4 cup coffee liquer
5 ouces of hot chocolate

Mix well, and top with whip cream.
