Chocolate sales are up; apparently many people like to comfort themselves with the sweet treat. Others are cutting back on food costs and buying more Spam. And antacids are selling well, no doubt to counteract stomach upset from economic woes (and maybe from eating Spam).

Wine is selling well, although it's often lower-priced brands that are moving today. Running shoe sales are up, even though they can be pricey: maybe people are skipping the gym membership and hitting the roads.

What else is selling well? Guns... and condoms, among other things. Interesting times, for sure.
