How to Add Content

Adding content is simple with Xomba once you get the hang of it.

First, decide whether you're writing an Xomblurb or an Xombyte:

A Xomblurb is a minimum of 50 words that functions like a social bookmark.

A Xombyte is a minimum of 150 words and is a traditional magazine style article.

So, for example, if you just read a great article about skiing in Austria and you want to point others to it, you'll be writing a Xomblurb.  If, however, you personally just went on a trip to Austria and can't wait to describe your experiences and offer up tips and tricks for other travelers, write a Xombyte.

How to post a Xombyte

  1. Click on the orange "post a xombyte" button in the top right navigational menu.
  2. Type your content into the body box. You should write a minimum of 150 words.
  3. Come up with a unique title (if its not unique it cannot be posted) and post it in the title box. Do not use ALL CAPS.
  4. Choose a category from the category drop box which best matches your subject matter.
  5. Enter a maximum of five keywords in the tags box (you must enter at least one).  These are words that relate to your article.  Think, "What would someone search in order to get my article?"  Use the drop down box for tag   suggestions, or choose your own.
  6. Don't forget to hit the submit button at the bottom of the page.
  7. The preview button will allow you to view your Xombyte as others will see it, before you submit.
