How Article Writing Helps Me Make $8-$10 Per Hour

It is entirely possible to make a living posting original articles. In fact, making even more money than that isn't at all difficult, if you have decent type speed. If your originals display some quality and you're home playing with the little Folk, you could still make more in a day than you would at a job with a grumpy boss who can only pay minimum wage. Do the math, you can still afford to take time off to watch Sesame street re-runs AND The Wiggles, and go to Play dates - whilst making the equivalent to minimum wage or better. Keeping in mind that because I get page view payments and a small amount of money from ad clicking revenue sites, the difference is made up if I want a whole day off to go fishing.

I recently came across a venue which pays me $2.00 per post. I guess it sounds like little if you have dyslexic fingers and writer's block, however, by keeping your spell checker page open you can churn them out fairly quickly and spend a bare minimum of time doing it. Make sure you go back and proof read twice though, it is easy to miss half sentences where you may not have a typo, but you may have changed your wording. Spell check isn't going to find it and you'll be selling at a discount because of your blunder.

That said, I don't know too many places offline that will offer me a pay increase if I work harder for them. I worked for family last year and I can tell you that doesn't even help!

After posting my first masterpiece at the new site I got all enthusiastic and blogged my great news to the world. Needless to say my blog traffic shot up like a thermometer in a wood-fired pizza oven. More money in the adsense account. I love this job. I wasn't thinking of the extra clicks from people who snubbed my post but found a better offer in my adblocks to the right. Money from ignorance is as good as any.
Then I got to thinking, what if I posted it on craigslist and all of the relevant hangouts? I did that this morning so nothing has happened at this hour, although if my blog traffic is anything to compare to, I may be moving to Alaska sooner than later. I always wanted to do that. I now plan to post a few free classifieds, and maybe some recreational writing answering Q & A's at Yahoo! over lunch. Nothing like networking to get the ball rolling. I don't know about being filthy rich, but while I am researching and studying for my degree I will happily accept $10 per hour from anyone who wants to read my intellectual doodling.

All in all I have had a wonderful time writing, and the most exciting part is I can now say I am doing it for my primary source of income - and sweet hubby isn't carrying the whole load. Bless his cotton socks. We even have 2 college funds set up with a third ready to start.

I'm the white picket fence home-body type you'd see on a TV Land show, so being at home baking and gardening is my idea of a perfect life. Writing is relaxation between baking my own bread and walking my dog Tulip. I feel like the richest person in the world already.
Not bad for a 43 year old college student with 5 kids!
