how to calculate bmi

For readers who are interested in a quantitative way to figure out if your weight is in a healthy acceptable range, you can use Body Mass Index, in short BMI.

There is only two things you need to calculate your BMI.

1. What is your weight.
2. What is your height.

BMI = Weight in kg / (height in meters X height in meters)

value is < 18 means you are underweight.
value between 18 and 24.9 means healthy acceptable weight
value between 25 to 30 means overweight
value > 30 means obese.
