How can We Know Who to Believe?

How can We Know Who to Believe?

Rush is a god?  Hannity has a good head on his shoulders?  Beck is the new truth?  Maddow is a real reporter?  Ed is smart?  Olberman is intelligent?  Right!  And I sprout wings and fly around at night to watch over Gotham City and Metropolis.

Those who do not have direction, do not have resources for good information, will go to the entertainer who most likely speels out the rhetoric of the day.  Those who would be guided and moulded into the person that their flavor of choice would like them to be will hang on every word of the political opinionist that they think is the most right.

Rush Limbaugh has been around too long.  Everyone seems to know him.  He sounds smart.  He has a point now and then but his word is not gospel.  He does not know everything, and his information comes from good and questionable sources.

Hannity is better looking and has a bit more common sense in the delivery but he's also gotten his facts twisted to suit his agenda.  Although I agree with him often he is not the difinitive source of reliable information.

Glenn Beck is a commedian.  He's not a political reporter.  He is an entertainer, much like Limbaugh and Hannity.  He may be a political satirist, who knows?   I like to listen to Beck just to see where he goes next and what his cause of the day is.  He has become iconic thanks to th e Colors of Change organization trying to stifle him.  Wonder if that means he is close to the truth?  Funny how that works.  If that organization had not tried so hard to remove his popularity and funding then Beck may not have become even more popular.  Talk about shooting yourself in the foot!

Then there is the other side of the coin.  Rachel Maddow.  To look at her angers me.  She has a permanent smug look on her face.  Then she opens that mouth and all that comes out is a tone so wrought with sarcasm that there is no way on Earth that she is truly a serious reporter.  Her direction is pro-administration and comes up with the snippets of information that will enable her to stay employed by the station that bows down to the great and mighty President.

The Ed Show no idea his last name, he's a treat to be sure.  He is so full of what appears to be disdain and contempt for anything not in complete agreement with the President that he will grasp at any straw to prove his points without getting anyone who is truly an expert to meet with him.

Keith Olberman is the worst of what I've seen.  He is the male counter-part to the rude and sarcastic Rachel Maddow.  His ideology came right out of the Left-Wing Journal for television talk show hosts.  He truly believe's he's all that and the nonsense that comes out of his mouth is nothing less than drivel.

So there you have it, the political expertise of celebrities and ministers.  The psychological knowledge of lawyers and speakers.  It is terrible the mess our country is in and if anyone out there who is listening to either the "far left" or "far right" I would suggest you pick up a book and read.  Get ahold of professional journals and documents and stop wasting your time trying to glean the truth out of a bunch of opinionated, rude, loud, and obnoxious television faces.
