Eczema is a skin condition in which red patched and blisters appear on the skin and it becomes dry and rough. The most common factors of eczema is pollens, air pollution and exposure of skin to a series of allergens but it can also appear in people due to heredity factors and stress. Change in weather, changes in body metabolism and nutritional deficiencies are also causes eczema. It mostly occurs in infants and develop by adulthood but it is more serious in infants rather in  adults. Spearmint also known as green mint or garden mint is used for medicinal purposes sine Roman ages as an anti-inflammatory and an aid for digestion. The juice of its leaves is a very good remedy for eczema it provide relief from itching and skin inflammation. The method of using spearmint is just squeeze the juice of it's leaves and apply on the affected area. Nutmeg is also useful for eczema, make a paste of nutmeg by rubbing it onto a smooth surface with a little water and apply this paste on to the affected area. A paste of sandalwood and camphor is used to cure eczema in Ayurveda and traditional Indian medicine, you can make this paste by adding 1 teaspoon of both and apply it on the affected skin portion. This is a wonderful home remedy for eczema.

  • Application of mashed papaya seed on the itching skin provide relief from itching. 
 
  • You can apply a mixture of raw honey and lemon juice on the face and leave it overnight. It is a wonderful remedy for the dryness of skin for more effect you can add olive oil too.
 
  • Do not use soap, lotion and other skin care products with chemicals instead you can use glycerin soap for bathing.
