How to deal with an alcoholic spouse

Addiction can ruin your marriage. The person with the problem can be abusive. It can be emotional or physical abuse. It's not healthy to stay with an abusive person. There're people that drink but they're not abusive. They're normal. Every alcoholic is different. If he or she doesn't abuse you then the relationship can be saved. You should get help from a professional if you're married to an alcoholic. You should try to get that person some help too.
Give Ultimatum

You should give your spouse an ultimatum. You should tell them that you're going to leave if they continue with their ways. Usually people will clean up their mess if they want to stay with you. You should leave a relationship if it's an abusive one. People will keep their old habits and you can't do much but leave. This is why it's so important to not marry an alcoholic. You should scan your boyfriends and make sure that they're not alcoholics.
Ask Them To Get Help

An alcoholic can recover if they want too. They have to get help. A rehab is a good place to get your addiction cure. They have medication and treatments program that can help you kick the habit. They should be responsible and get help. If they're not responsible then you can leave them and move on with your life.
Don't Be There When They're Drunk

If they're abusive when they're drunk then you should leave the house. You can go somewhere else. You should plan on moving out. It's not OK to stay there and get hit by them. They can't control their anger or psychosis sometimes. It's not a good idea to stay and argue with them. You won't get to a good ending.
Move Out

You shouldn't have to put up with people's habit. If they're irresponsible then you should leave them. You shouldn't have to deal with it daily. You shouldn't stick around if they don't want to change.
