How To Earn The Most From Article Writing Sites That Share Adsense. Lasting Content.

Sites like Xomba allow you to create a revenue stream from articles that you have written. It's great passive income once you get a good base of well written articles built.

Lasting Content For Maximum Adsense Revenue:

One way to ensure that your articles will keep on earning in the future is to focus on what I call "lasting content.". What is lasting content? It refers to articles that will be relevant to Google searchers months from now.

An example of an article that would not be lasting content would be one about a celebrity or current fad. Several years ago the sleep hormone melatonin was thought to promote longevity.

It was one of the most searched for terms on the internet. Now melatonin is cheap and sold for use as a sleep aid only. Articles about melatonin are not likely to result in any Adsense income.
Currently there are many articles about the tropical fruit Acai. An article about the weight loss benefits of Acai may earn you a few dollars in the next few months, since it is a high value keyword. How long your article remains relevant depends on how long Acai stays in the news.

It is likely that it will not be lasting content. What subjects might be considered lasting content? Look for enduring trends and the human condition for ideas. Weight loss in general will be a high value subject for years to come. So will saving money, investing wisely, increasing gas mileage, saving electricity, staying healthy, maintaining a good relationship with your spouse, etc.

When looking to maximize Adsense income over the long term consider writing about subjects that will stay in the search results for a long while.

Niche Articles:

Try niche subjects, that you may personally be aware of. An example of a niche subject that might be lasting content would be tourism of a particular area. Focus on one area, such a lighthouse, beach, pier, etc, and write a good in - depth article. Chances are tourists who are planning a trip to that destination will keep finding your article over the coming months and clicking on it for more information on that attraction.

Deep Niche Articles That Last In Search Results:
Consider writing "deep niche articles" that have a narrow focus on a popular subject.
"Places with the Best Hot Dogs On Coney Island", you get the idea. Your travel article will contain keywords that generate high value Google travel ads and keep your residual income rolling in over the long term. Great point about "lasting

Great point about "lasting content." I have also heard it referred to as "evergreen content" because it never dies--it is going to be as useful in three years as it is today. It's a very smart way to write content because you will benefit from it more long term. I gave you a plus 1 for this! Join Xomba and Start Making Money from your Writing Today! Good for those attempting to grasp the secrets of adsense...

We're all pioneers and this shows because we have to invent terms - you invented "lasting content" I reckon. "Dwell time" was used of a different medium but it was me (I believe) used it in the context of increasing earnings from adsense. Just wondered if anyone else here could add some terms they've invented or applied from elsewhere - it all helps.
