Finding fellow Pagans or Wiccans in your community is not as difficult as it seems. You only need to know what you are looking for, such as the jewelry commonly worn by these individuals, using forums and websites that have been set up to make these individuals easier to find. There are also websites that are set up like myspace.com specifically designed for individuals that have a earth based belief system. Some of these sites are but not limited to:

  These are just a few sites that will help you become in contact with fellow like minded individuals. You can use these websites to participate in community activities as well as the possibility of meeting fellow Pagans and Wiccans in your area. You can further find other sites and forums by searching Google or yahoo by using key words such as Pagan communities, Wicca communities, Pagan forums, or Wicca forums.

  When identifying Pagans and Wiccans by the jewelry they wear look for common symbols used in the community. Some of these symbols include but are not limited to:

·        The pentacle: This is a five pointed star that has a circle around the points of the star.

·        The septagram or Elvin star: This is a seven pointed star sometimes surrounded by a circle.

·        The triple moon: This is a circle that has a half moon on each side of it. It is also commonly used in forums such as yahoo answers as a signature that looks like this )0(.

·        The triquetra: This symbol gained popularity after the T.V. series “Charmed” aired on fox. It has three curved points and can have a circle around the points them selves or a circle that allows the points to stick out of the edge of the circle. It can also be presented without a circle.

·        Crystals: crystals of any type can signify a Pagan or Wiccan as well. However, there are individuals who wear crystals because they think they are pretty, so look for other clues to see if you can identify the individual as a fellow Pagan or Wiccan.

Good luck in your search and remember to be observant when you are out in public, you will be surprised by how many people you run into that have these types of symbols on there body’s in forms of tattoos, jewelry, or both.
