Time to measure to get some data. That's right, let's weigh, measure your body and check your clothing size. Then, let’s get on the dreaded scale and then document your present weight. This is necessary because you need a starting point. You see, you can't appreciate where you are going until you see where you are right now. Don't be shy because this information is for your eyes only. In addition, document your clothes size as well as your measurements. You’ll need your chest or bust, waist, hips, abdomen, legs and neck. Safely tuck this information away and don’t look at it again for three months. At the end of three months of following our plan, check your weight, measurements and clothes size again. Evaluate your progress. If you see progress good, keep doing what you’re doing if not, put the measurements away for another three months. During this three month period, if you want to see better results then cut back again on the food and increase your activity.
- Tighten up on your food plan. Keep eating what you are eating but cut the portions by half. Therefore, if you have been eating 10 oz of meat at every meal then eat 5. If you've been snacking on 1 small bags of chips a day then eat only half.
- Eat more of the good stuff and less of the bad. Therefore, load up on fruits and vegetables. These foods are not only nutritious but they are low in calories and are quite filling as well. If you find that you consistently get hungry, eat more fruits and vegetables instead of chips and snacks
- Don't skip breakfast . Eat a light breakfast every single day. Some good examples include a bowl of high fiber cereal, fresh fruit and cup of milk. Another great choice would be 2 pieces of low fat turkey bacon or sausage and a bowl of oatmeal. After all, a healthy breakfast keeps you from overeating at lunch and dinner. It has been noted that if you eat 5 or more small meals a day, you will lose weight. Eating healthy foods regularly keeps your body out of starvation mode. If your body goes into starvation then it will not burn fat but will store it instead.
- Drink at least 6 - 8 glasses of water daily Water hydrates your body and cleanses your system. Therefore, make sure that you drink up. If you want to snazz up your water, try adding a bit of lemon, lime, or orange to give it a fruity taste. In addition, you can also add a teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract to give it flavor also.
- If you find that you rally don't want to exercise that's OK. Just make a commitment to increase your activities a bit. For instance, if you normally use the elevator then walk up the stairs. If you usually park your car in front of your home or office, park it further away so that you can get more steps in your daily routine. If you have children, you can actively play with them every day or simply dance around the house If you have a pet dog walk with it. Either way, make a commitment to increase your daily activity and then do it.
- Buy yourself a couple of outfits that accentuate the positive aspects of your body. For instance, if you have nice hips or thighs then wear mini skirts or buy an outfit that accentuates this. In essence, work with what you’ve got until you get the body you want. Appreciate yourself right where you are now.
- In closing, you can be physically fit with no exercise and no dieting. The key is to make small lifestyle changes like those mentioned above. Once you do, you’ll soon achieve your goals and look as better than ever. Good luck
