How To Get Rid Of Acne Fast-8 Ways To Get Rid Of Acne

Acne is the most usual skin problem knew today. In United States, almost 60 million people have problems with acne, and most of them are teenagers.

Practitioners and skin experts recommendations are natural acne treatments. Here are some advise which I have found to be useful. These treatments are usually productive for mild to moderate acne problems only. It commonly takes some weeks or about three to six months to welcome the results. For more acute and serious acne aspects, do not wait to advise your dermatologist.

1. Wash your face twice or thrice at most a day with gentle and non perfumed cleanser. Try to avoid using soaps because they contain ingredients and harsh chemicals that can damage your skin.

2. Avoid contacting your face. Do not put your hands near your face! I am often catch myself resting my hand on the side of my head while reading. Avoid scratching, rubbing or touching your skin with your hands. Make it a habit to avoid hand contact with your face, and be aware of it.

3. Avoid the temptation to squeeze and prick your acne. This will cause the infection goes deeper into the skin, resulting severe scarring.

4. For mild acne, you can use glycol acid as most well known remedy. Also you can use topical ointments, lotions or gels that contain benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or azelaic acid as an alternative to benzoyl peroxide. Benzoyl peroxide is best solution at killing acne helping reduce oil production. Azelaic acid , salicylic acid, and sulfur help break down whiteheads and blackheads.

5. Topical antibiotic products and solutions can also be applied.

6. Tea tree oil is a natural antibiotic and antibacterial agent. It has a drying affect on the skin. This oil is a excellent investment because it keeps the acne bacteria at side and lower facial oiliness.

7. Consider using sulfur to heal present abrasions by unblocking pores.

8. Alpha or Beta Hydroxy Acids keep the skin exfoliated. Mandelic acid is a lesser known one, but it is considered as a more effective alpha hydroxy acid in treating acne. It also less irritates skin than glycol acid. It is recommended to those with sensitive skin who are unable to use other solutions such as salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or sulfur. It is productive in treating mild cases of acne, and can be used beneficially with other solutions and therapies on moderate acne.
