Ich (or Ick) is a common bug that infects aquariums. It is easily treated if caught in time and very cheaply. This article discusses the simple “heat method” to cure a tank of ich. Ich is essentially a pest in your fish tank. Fish become susceptible to it when being moved or added to new tanks. It will show up looking like your fish has little grains of salt all over its body. The fins will sometimes be clamped. Luckily, this is highly treatable.
