How to give yourself a cognitive therapy session
Why you need one

Once in awhile, we can give ourselves a cognitive session so that we can delete some mental problems that we have. If you keep at it you will get sick one day. It's not healthy to think about problems that don't exist. Unfortunately, a lot of people dwell on the past and problems that are only half real.

 A lot of people walk around with past problems haunting them
 The problems get worse if you keep at it
 They can be half imaginary and half real
 It will make you sick

How to start

 Take out a paper
 Write down all your problems
 Label what is important and current
 Label what is not important and is the past
 Label it if it’s true or just your imagination
 Use the word T for true or I for imagination
 Go through your list
 Cross off those that are just imagination

Cross off some more

 Cross off those that are labeled as unimportant
 Cross off those that are labeled as from the past
 Cross off those that don’t have any label
 Cross off those that are not problems

What happens now

 After you cross off your list, you will see that you will have very little items left
 This means that most of your mental problems are either not important, imaginary, not true, from the past or they are not real
 This means that you should not waste your time thinking about them daily

What can you do to keep them off of your mind

 After you went through this exercise, you have realized that your problems are not important and not real.
 This is why you should make a conscious decision to let it go forever and don’t ever think about it again
 You should do this monthly so you can clean up your mind
 It’s just like cleaning up a computer
 Too much problems will cause you to slow down
