How Good of a Writer are you? Come Play!

As writers, we are often unsure of ourselves when dealing with punctuation and grammar. I know that if I, personally, didn’t use a word processing program to first write my articles, I would have a ton of
spelling errors alone. A good writer feels fairly confident in their comma placement and use of general punctuation, but it takes years to learn all of the grammer rules. The biggest mistakes I see are not spelling, or the use of the common punctuation, but in the use of the words the writer chooses. For example, how many know, when to use the word that vs which? Who can tell me when I should say who, or if I should say whom. I am pretty comfortable with the fact that anyone reading this, who is a writer, would know in an instant when to use threre, their, or they’re, but how sure of yourself are you as to when to use a semi-colon? How do you know it shouldn’t be a colon. Well this is the fun part. I made a number of grammatical errors in this short article. I am interested to see if anyone will play along and point out the ones which are wrong. The game goes all the way to the end of the piece, and can be spelling, punctuation, or correct word usage. See how many you can find. You don’t have to re-write the article, but put a number, or go farther if you wish. Don’t think you will just paste it into WORD and find all the mistakes.I will write the article correctly in a couple of days and we can see who the winner is? (okay, I just gave you that one)

LOL just saw the other one
I just went to the homepage and saw an article on a similar subject. I just wanted to tell all that I wrote this BEFORE I saw that. What a coincidence!
