How to Help Kids Understand Fractions

Do fractions have you or your kids in pieces? Don't despair! Fractions are really hard to understand. An addition problem might require multiplication and division in order to complete it correctly. Since when did adding numbers involve either of those? That's what makes fractions so difficult. They have multiple operations and several procedural steps and kids can get lost very easily.
