How To Keep Your iPod and/or Digital Camera Running Smoothly

If you were fortunate enough to receive some new electronic gadgets like an iPod or digital camera for Christmas, you'll want to keep them running smoothly. Here are some tips to help you get the most of your new electronics.
iPod
Avoid dropping your iPod, it could scratch or break the screen.
Avoid leaving your iPod in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.
Clean your iPod with a damp cloth, being careful to never get water inside the iPod.
Charge the iPod battery every 14-18 days when not in use. Even when the iPod is turned off it's using a small amount of battery juice.
If you don't have a computer with the latest software, you can download free iTunes at Apple.com.
Digital Camera
Delete the sample shots that may come loaded on your digital camera, they use up the digital camera's memory.
Back up your photos to an external source to avoid losing valued photos.
Handle your digital camera carefully, avoiding dropping the camera, keep it away from moisture and clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
