How to Lose Body Weight When You Hit a Plateau
posted October 30, 2009 - 1:43pmIf you are stuck on a plateau, then you know how frustrating it can be to lose body weight. You shake your scale, just in case it is broken, but the reality is, your body is very efficient, and it has got used to your new way of diet and exercise.
You need to mix it up a bit, or cheat! Take a look at what you are eating on your most routine days, and then change it around. Eat your biggest meal at lunch, and a smaller meal at dinner. If you must have dessert, then have it at lunch.
By switching up your daily eating routines, you will get that body of yours burning again and lose body weight for sure!
You are not dropping any calories, you are just switching it around a bit. This way you have the afternoon for your body to burn off your bigger lunch, and unless you are an all star athlete in the evening, you probably don't need much anyways as your metabolism slows for the evening.
Give it a try. If you are stuck and don't want to eat just lettuce, move your meals around. At the end of the week, you should see that scale start to move again! Check out my ongoing blog on losing body weight
