Many people come to Xomba and start writing, only to become disillusioned when their AdSense account doesn't accumulate clicks and cash right away. There are even some people here who have been here a while and haven't found out what it feels like to get that first check from Google.

Then, there are those who seem to have money flowing through their keyboards and onto the screen. These people make the Google AdSense minimum every month consistently and well before the month is out--sometimes even before the month is a few days old.

What do the prosperous people have that the other people don't? Superior writing skills? Sometimes. A crystal ball to see into the future and learn what stories will make money? Not likely, but that would be something that I'd put on my Christmas list.

What then? I believe that it is the right attitude and mindset. In a Universal sense, your thoughts and emotions send out energy that is reciprocated with similar energy. When you are happy and positive, you get back happy and positive and you may notice that people smile at you, things "click" in your dealings with work or school, and everything just f-l-o-w-s. When you are sad and negative, you may notice that "everything" goes wrong in your day, from the alarm clock not going off on time, to the broken shoelace, to missing the bus, to getting yelled at for being late.

What does that mean for us here at Xomba? First, we need to change the way we look at money. If you need money right now to pay your bills, look at getting a loan. If you write like you are desperate for money, your writing will suffer.

Similarly, don't AdSense-watch. By that, I mean don't check on your AdSense account hourly or more and become obsessed with seeing every click and penny accumulate. When you do this, you are sending out to the Universe the idea that you are desperate for money, which is scarcity, and you will get more scarcity back in return.

On that last note, I want to challenge you not to look at your AdSense account for one week. If you do think about it during that week, imagine that you have $1000.00 (or something perhaps more realistic depending on how long you've been writing here). Imagine how happy and prosperous you would feel knowing that you are going to have a big payday. You might even print out your AdSense account page, then use white-out to cover the actual amount in there now, and write in what you WANT to be there; hang it on the wall next to your computer.

The key to prosperity is knowing to your core that you already have the money and trusting the Universe that you will receive it. By believing that you have already received it, you are telling the Universe that you are ready to receive it. (If you keep saying that you will receive it "some day", you are sending the message that you are just not ready.)

The following is an affirmation that I repeat seven times every day and night, while looking at myself in the mirror (which is powerful because you are really speaking to yourself) and using my right palm to tap my throat area (which energizes the throat chakra and allows you to "speak your truth"):

"I am a money magnet. Money comes to me easily and effortlessly from known and unknown sources each and everyday, which I receive with grace and gratitude."

So, I will ask you: How much money do you want to make today? The choice is yours! (Don't forget to keep those articles going, too!)
