How not to feel bad after gaining some weight.
posted October 30, 2009 - 10:21pmLately, a lot of people have told me that I was getting FAT. And yes, they said it straight in the face, some even posted it on my Facebook wall. Now let me ask you something, how would it feel if it were you in my place?
I know I'm not fat, but when you get all of these, it just gets into your nerves.
One thing to keep in mind: WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF YOU IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Let them say what they want, it's you who know what you are and how you look. As long as you maintain your weight on the ideal body weight (you can calculate it here: http://www.healthsystem.virginia.edu/assets/UVAHealth/ssi/includes/hbwcalc.html#intro )
Just don't let it get the best of you. Because in the end, all of the opinions won't matter as long as you feel good, the you will look good. There are just about a million reasons to lose weight, but keep in mind that you do it for yourself and not because other people told you so.
Sometimes, people can be so rude and don't care about how you feel. But think about what they said and then reflect on how you can make the most out of it, you can either listen to them and feel bad about how much you've gained or listen to them, then think that maybe you should just maintain that or lose a little. You don't have to be anorexic (like a lot of girls nowadays, my age), you might consider exercise and a healthy diet. There are other options too, like the Master Cleanse. But at the end of the day, it's entirely up to you.
Just feel good, and you will look good! :)
