How to Plant and Grow Carnations
posted August 7, 2009 - 12:52pmhere are hundreds of varieties of carnations that can be grown in a home garden
and they are all beautiful. The only thing to remember when picking a
type is to get one with a strong scent.
Some hybrid carnations have lost their scent because of genetic changes.
Fenbows Nutmeg Clove and Victoriana are two great varieties for starting out with. Carnations can be grown from seed easily or baby plants can be bought at a local nursery.
