How to prepare for pregnancy

Are you asking yourself how to prepare for pregnancy, or maybe you've started to ask friends?  Have you gotten any answers yet or do you still feel a little unsure?  Let me offer some things you will want to do in preparation for pregnancy.

There isn't a whole lot you need to do, but the few things you need to do are very important.  The first and most important thing to do is eat healthy and start taking a prenatal vitamin today.  Studies have shown how benificial folic acid is to the growing fetus.  In fact, it will help with nueral tube defects, which often occur before you even know your pregnant.  Which means if you don't start getting enough folic acid before you may not have enough when it's time. 

Another thing you will want to do in preparation for a bun in the oven is start a good exercise routine.  You don't need to be a body builder or a supermodel, but it is easier for you and the baby if you are fit and continue to be fit throughout the pregnancy.  Another plus on getting fit is that most woman say the labor is quicker, easier and less painful if you regularly exercise.

That's it.  Those two things are the best things for you to do.  So now that you know, stop asking how to prepare for pregnancy and start preparing.
