With the cost of merchandise, it is really hard to save money for extra expenses or for fun things to purchase or do. Below are two simple painless ways to save and not feel the pinch.

1. Change - "Brother can you spare a dime." Spare a dime for your self. At the end of each day dump all your change from your pockets, wallet, and purse into a jar. The bigger the jar the better. You will be suprised at how much money you have when the jar is full. Once it is full, take it your bank, use the change counter and look at your almost non effort add up. Once I only saved pennies, and when the jar was full, I had $106.00!

2. Dollar - Save one dollar per day in an envelope. At the end of one year, you will have saved $365.00. That is enough for a full day out with the family, a mini vacation or a special purchase like a coach bag.
