If you bought a monthly plan for your internet, they will know your identity
If you sign up for a service provider, you will have your name, address out there
If you paid for monthly service, they will know who you are so be careful with your searches and activities

Every time that you browse the web, you’re sending out an IP address and they will know who you are
If there is investigation going on, they will know who you are
So avoid doing searches or activities like harassment that can get you in trouble

So if you are in an investigation, they would look you up instantly by your IP
By your IP, they will see your full name, address, phone number and all else

If you want to surf anonymously, you can hide your IP address
You can do this by using a proxy server
The proxy server would delete your IP before all activities
However, your network admin, can still see your identity or previous searches
So you are rarely ever anonymous online
So restrict your activities at least on your home computer

Clear history from your computer
You can also clear your searches history from your browser
Go to your menu and go under privacy tab
Click on clear history
And all is cleared
But your network admin might still sees it

Cookies are what get you in trouble
Every site has cookies to remember who you are , your username, password, and email
They will know your activities when you’re on their sites
So you can disable some cookies on your pc

You can also set your cookies browser
Set it to search in private and disable cookies at any websites that you choose to if you don’t want to show your identity

Register anonymously
Whenever you are signing up for a subscription, don’t give your true identity unless it’s really necessary like your banking username
Use some fake name and email address under a fake name
You should have different email addresses so they don’t know who you are
Don’t use the same username and password with all of your account
