How the Teddy Bear Feels

How the Teddy Bear Feels

We all know one-'Teddy Bear' or another-. Truth is, every man who calls himself Christian aspires to have a few qualities of the Teddy Bear! The greatest of these–we all should've rehd–is love.

The love I'm talking about, though, is not spoken. It survives off of the love that is spoken, but ... well, read a faméd Teddy-Bear's method-of-love:

Artist: Elvis Presley

Love Me

(words & music jerry leiber - mike stoller)
Treat me like a fool,
Treat me mean and cruel,

But love me.

Wring my faithful heart,
Tear it all apart,

But love me.

If you ever go,
Darling, i'll be oh---

so lonely

I'll be sad and blue,
Crying over you,

dear only.

I would beg and steal
Just to feel---

your heart
Beatin' close to mine

Well, if you ever go,
Darling, i'll be oh---

so lonely

I'll be sad and blue,
Crying over you,

dear only.

I would beg and steal
Just to feel---

your heart
Beatin' close to mine

Well, if you ever go,
Darling, i'll be oh---

so lonely

Beggin' on knees,
All i ask is please,

please love me

... Oh yeah

You can see that the teddy-bear does not mention his love so much as he mentions the effects his love has on him, or the pains his desire for love wreak upon him. His love is the fuel that feeds the force lit by 'the flame' (the object of his love).

Elvis Just Didn't Want to be Rude

Yes, Elvis wanted to be around her every night, run his fingers through her hair, and for her to cuddle him real tight. Subject line here. Very commendable though, nowadays so many guys just say, "put your mouth on it!" and don't care about romance. It's obviously not spoken and very physical. I'm sure you'll tell me how I'm so terribly wrong about how I interpret his words, but I wouldn't say there is always only one way, especially when I'm perceiving them from my personal point of view, and even I don't have only one way of perceiving it. Maybe he enjoyed being dominated. How does being Christian make any guy more diligent in striving to be a teddy bear? Not like a lion, then he won't be "loved enough"? Not like a tiger, he doesn't wanna "play too rough"? So every Christian guy has the goal of being submissive, loved enough, and play gentle instead of rough. Do You represent all Christian? guys, as you stated in another blog? It doesn't sound true at all, I've known Christian men who didn't care for having any of those qualities in a relationship. Is it really aspirations for love, or really just sex? Well who the heck would ever know, maybe some people think sex IS love! Whatever love is...
