How to Add MySpace Backgrounds

This How to article will show members that are new to MySpace how they can add their own custom layout to their MySpace Profile.

Step1

Find a website that offers Free MySpace layout designs. Go to Google search engine and type “free MySpace layouts” or free MySpace backgrounds”. Many of these sites have pop up advertisement so make sure your pop up blocker is turned on. Warning: If any of these sites offer to install a Free Tool Bar for your web browser, get out of the site and find another one. These tool bars are spyware and cookie trackers.

Step2

Once you find a site you can trust, find a layout that you like and copy the code of the layout. Make sure all the code in the box is selected.

Step3

Open another web browser session and login into your MySpace account and click on Profile and select “Edit profile”.

Step4

In the “About Me” section of your profile, paste the MySpace background code from the website you got your free background. Make sure you paste the code at the beginning of your profile.

Step5

Click on “Preview Profile” and you will see your new MySpace layout. This is how your MySpace page will appear to everyone else who visits your MySpace page.
