How to Buy Your Own Island

How to Buy Your Own Island

Well, the first thing you're thinking is, to buy your own island, you have to first make a lot of money. And that's of course true.

And that's probably not going to happen any time very soon for me--I mean I may make some pretty good money in the next few years, and I hope to, but enough money to buy an Island? Hmmmm?

I read an article today that got my imagination going about owning my own island. Islands seem to be many people's version of paradise--and there are a few people who actually own their own islands.

Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin records, owns his own island, and often rents it out for something like $11,000 a night to wealthy vacationers.

David Copperfield owns an island--an island on which he claims (rather dubiously) to have found the fountain of youth.

Wouldn't that be a nice present? An island.

Anyways, here is the link to the article that stoked my island-owning imagination today as I was surfing the web.
