How To Eat Cheap - Chicken

There is no reason that you can't "Eat Cheap" and eat well. To really "Eat Cheap" you have to cook your own food.. But that is easy.

What is not so easy is avoiding some of the money traps at the store..... find more advice on this in general in the How To "Eat Cheap" Introduction here

http://www.xomba.com/how_to_eat_cheap_but_well_introduction

One of the worst money traps is chicken..... boned and skinned...$3.00 a pound... bone in skin on... 39 cents a pound....

The cheapest source of chicken that I have found, other than sales, is at Walmart... They carry and always have in stock a ten pound bag of chicken thigh and drustick quarters for under $5... usually it is $3.90, but the price does vary.

This will provide you with about 15 quarter chicken servings. Now that is "Cheap Eats" ....

Here is a link to a super easy, absolutely delicious "Fragrant Rosemary Roasted Chicken"

Chicken

Great advice. They say a penny saved is a penny earned. Saving anywhere I can is great. http://www.ehow.com/members/amylaine.html
