Fact:
Shower tile grout is not waterproof and must be replaced every couple of years if there is damage due to water.
Method:
To grout shower tiles, you require a
bag of tile grout that can be bought from your local tile shop.
Tile grout is available in various colors, make sure its an exact match or a shade lighter than your tile.
Do not choose a darker shade grout as it will stand out when compared to the shower tile.
Tools required for cleaning grout
* standard screwdriver with a flat head and a tile trowel.
* wet sponge with rounded corners
If the grout in your shower tile is moldy, gently scrap the grout out with the screwdriver.
Mix the tile grout as per the instructions provided, mix only small amounts a time because the tile grout can harden quickly leading to wastage.
The consistency of the grout must be such that it can be rolled into a ball and it must hold its shape. Use the tile trowel to apply the grout gently over the shower tiles.

Clean the excess grout with the grout sponge. Be sure to squeeze excess water from the sponge before cleaning grout and rinse.
Tips:
You can experiment with a piece of cheap tile and tile-backer board in your garage. This will help you to get a feel before grouting your shower tile.

remain intact. Let it dry for 24 hours.
