When it comes to relationships, they all go up and down and sometimes, well, not so great. But how can you always keep your girlfriend happy? Whilst that might be impossible, there are things you can do to make her more likely to be happy and content with the effort that you are putting in.

a)The number one word here is affection. That's because no matter how old the relationship is, all of us like and appreciate affection from our partner.

b)Don't check out other woman, or at least not in front of your girlfriend! One cannot stress how incredibly annoying it is to watch your guy gawking at someone else. We know you look at other girls, and we know you think they are hot, but we don't want to see or hear about it from you. Keep that behaviour for when you're with your friends. This is a surefire way to turn her mood sour.

c)Be polite. Remember, you are the man in this relationship, which means you should be the one taking care of her. Don't let her open the door, and don't let her pay for herself.
